Beaumer trail

In the town center of Carnac, visit the Saint Cornely church, one of the beautiful religious monuments of Morbihan from the 17th century. To the east of the village of Carnac, this trail loops through a rural landscape within the municipal bounds. Follow the path to the pond of Kergouellec towards the village of Cloucarnac, where you’ll discover some ancient settlements and a beautiful old well. Many legends tell of the local ghosts, the “spontails” in the Breton language, who stay close to water points and play tricks on hurrying travelers.
