Direct TGV line from Paris to Auray (fast train).

If you want to get to the peninsula of Quiberon in the summer, take the Tire-bouchon. This iconic train runs from 14 June to 14 September 2025 from Auray SNCF station to Quiberon. It serves Plouharnel, just 5km from Carnac. From the Plouharnel-Carnac stop, line 1 of the BreizhGo buses will take you to Carnac.

Tickets for the Tire-bouchon are on sale at the Carnac plage Tourist Office (74 avenue des Druides).

Bikes, folding bikes and trailers can only be taken on board the Tire-Bouchon if booked in advance for €1 via the website.

By Bus

Line 1 of the BreizhGo network connects Auray to Carnac all year round.

Take advantage of the buses to get to and around Carnac:

  • From September to June: Auray – Carnac – Plouharnel – Quiberon
  • In July and August : Auray – Carnac – Plouharnel – Belz
